have you ever watch this movie called “The Truman Show”?

i watched it more than once. it’s so simple, but yet nowadays i think about similiar case. on the movie, this guy was “trapped” as the single star of a reality show. the idea of the movie was placing so many cameras so whatever this guy does, all the people could see. people then too involved with any personal feelings of this guy. the desperate, the anger etc.

the only way out was by sailing on the water, which he scared of. but one day he made it! everything is ended just by opening the door of the studio on the other side of the water. that’s all…

talking about the movie, people starting to chat about how entertainment is surrounding us. how we are “trapped” by any of the entertaining stuffs.

but a question for me is:
what if our lives is the same story as we have seen in “The Truman Show”?
what if what i needed is to open the right door across the sea?

then it would be easier to understand our lives. it is understandable to think why sometimes lives aren’t so fair

why good people are loose and bad people are the winner?
why lives are not so controlable by us?
why some people get the best luck and others don’t?
why some people easily get rich but some burried poorly?

and so on…

if anyone of us could find the right door: please just tell the rest of us…
so we can decide each by our own selves, do we want to keep this kind of trapped life, or just walkaway and break free to be our selves.

some people don’t like it. Hey that’s okay, i pray to my own Lord, if you say so. since for me, my own Lord and your Lord is the same God. even if we prayed for different Lord, why couldn’t i?

when i want to pray, should i explain to you first, the prayer is a relation between my Lord and me. and who you are, disturbing this private relation?

when you pray, i wouldn’t complain… just go ahead. talk to your Lord. i wouldn’t complain. i wouldn’t complain, and why should i?

if only you know, and i will let you know here, now. since i was young i was taught that we believe all the 5 legal religions in this country are the same true believers. it means, we believe all the 5 religions taught about good things to their people and also are the ways to the Lord. the same Lord, if you believe so

i do believe so.

and look, based on that concepts, look what i found out nowadays!
you, people, don’t even let me pray to the Lord.

but still, we taught and we believe, it’s not the religions that taught you to do such a weird thing (with only a purpose that is to stop us from praising the Lord). it’s the people. and it’s personal, not entirely people have the same mind and took the same weird way to praise the Lord.

and right now, i will pray (even you don’t want me to do) for you, people. may the Lord bless you and keep you. and may you find your own “awareness” that enlight your mind. people, please, remember, we are all the same people in the world. nothing higher nothing lower. and each of us is all nothing but also so precious to our Lord. why don’t we become one in unity?

what will you do if: – you felt so boring with your routines? – you were so demotivated to do anything? – you were too lazy to be creative at anything?

for now i just sit here, in front of my pc (my office’s pc, i mean), writing this article, thinking about a lot of plans related to my job with no willing to make them real, waiting for afternoon when i could get out from this room, going home, doing nothing again at home but watching any cartoon movies for children on TV, i will eat mango and orange since i have enough fruits for this whole week, then waiting for the time i feel sleepy and later go to sleep.

not a bit nice to be told as a story huh?

may the peace and love of God surrounded you all by now.

and also for all the familis, friends, everyone that related to the tragedy:
please, be strong and keep your face up and carry on. the path of life still lay-widely-open in front of us. again, please, be strong!

and for the people that responsible with this tragedy:
my questions will never all gone to understand, completely understand, why you ever thought and dare to do this.

and for everyone of us,
don’t do this to our indonesia. don’t ever think to do this to our indonesia. don’t ever dream to do this to our indonesia…

sept 30, 2005: worked around bandung…. in the afternoon went to cianjur and spent a night in cianjur…. ate chicken porridge, ehm the famous-favourite menu from cianjur….

oct 1, 2005: worked around cianjur, layed-over to my house then continued the trip to sukabumi. in the afternoon, 18:30 in jakarta already
