two hands…
well, all i want to say is: government is no god.
most moments we blame our government for what they do, most moments we forget to look at ourselves.
rarely i am stand for government. but on flood days, the topic: ‘it is government’s false’ highly raised around medias.
‘they dont help us’, ‘they give us nothing’, ‘they did nothing to city plan’, ‘we trapped here for days, where are they?’, ‘no rescue from government’
d-oh (homer simpson’s style)
did you listen when they ask us to keep our area clean? did you obey when they ask us to put rubbish into the garbage? no, it’s not a SMALL thing. i throwed a piece of plastic to small river, you throwed a piece of plastic outside your house, he did the same, she did the same, all the people do this small thing. then we have A LARGE AMOUNT of plastic around…
it’s not a small thing, it’s the BASIC thing, a part of responsibility.
government is the representative of us that have to think more, do more, being paid more (hehehe), blamed more all about our condition. flood, food, basic salary, weather, transportation, crime etc. okay that is what they are for. to do more since they are part of us that had been chosen.
now, do you really think helping people is their responsibility only? they are small in number than us. perhaps they are kilometers from the victims. instead, the victims can only meters away from our own houses. why not we help our own people instead of blaming government?
two hands (mostfully) each of us have would be more meanfull if we use it to hand-in-hand help our own people. two hands could be more usefull than just pointing to government, shouting to them.
two hands of mine. this year, i did nothing. i didn’t throw rubbish outside the garbage, i didn’t help my own people also. i wish these two hands of mine will be more usefull than they are now…
AGREE!!
Two thumbs up,

Tapi seharusnya pemerintah bisa berbuat lebih baik, ketimbang dateng telat ke kantor, baca koran, ngobrol, main catur, ngobyek… glegeg..glegek…
ethe: my priest once taught me that it is better to light a match even it wouldn’t be so bright than to complain the darkness only..

ethe: may i say balikpapan today = dream of “jakarta in the future”?
